The work produced during this period defines my voice as a painter. It is a period where many of the things I have strived to understand have come to fruition.

It really began with The Decaffeination, a painting in which I first used my sense of humor. From that point on I have had no questions of what to paint. I simply use my intuition, thoughts, and reactions.
