Job gets it from all sides in the Old Testament. He is brought to the brink of collapse, but through it all, Job believes.

It is difficult to truely give everything up for a belief, a passion. Of course, we don't give it all up in such Biblical proportions, but then it is all relative.

I have shown Job at his wits end. With a deamon at his back, Job is on the brink of mental breakdown. Job will survive this because he has faith. After all he has the patience of Job.
