This is about the relationship of prayer and sports. Lots of folks like to pray before any kind of game. If you are praying for the safety and protection of all of the participants that is great, but end it there. I have been witness to many a before the game prayer during which the speaker will request that their side be victorious, that God be with them.

How about the guy who scores the game winning touchdown and the wants to thank the Lord Jesus Christ. Im not a bettin' man, but I would lay down some cash that Jesus, Buddah, Mohamad, YHWH, or whoever you like, is not interested in competetive sports.
